Privacy policy

Your information

Effective October 2026. Short version: I only collect what I need to send you what you asked for, I don't sell it, and you can leave any time.

Who runs this site

This site belongs to Andrew Rocha, host of The Currency of Happiness, in Alberta, Canada. When this page says "I" or "me," that's who it means.

What I collect

  • When you sign up for the free guide: your first name and email address.
  • When you send a message or book a call: your name, email address, and whatever you write in the form.
  • When you visit: basic technical information that every website receives, such as your browser type and the pages you view. I don't use it to identify you.

How I use it

I use your email address to send you the guide you asked for and emails about the show, the guide and related resources. I use messages you send me to reply to you. I don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Your consent and unsubscribing

Signing up for the guide means you agree to receive these emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. You can also ask me to stop at any time.

Services that help run the site

A few trusted services store or process information on my behalf:

  • HighLevel (through Follow Drip) runs the signup and contact forms and sends emails.
  • Buzzsprout hosts the podcast audio that plays on episode pages.
  • YouTube plays episode videos. Videos load in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
  • Netlify hosts this website.
  • Affiliate partners: some links on the recommendations page are affiliate links. If you click one, that company may use cookies to know the visit came from this site.

Some of these services store data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. I keep your information only as long as you're subscribed or as long as I need it to reply to you.
